October 10, Mark 1-3

Mark has an emphasis on what Jesus does and it gets going fast. Super good stuff and great to see Jesus humble the nay-sayers.  

October 9, Matthew 26-28

It's the Passion of the Christ today. Great reading and reality of the love of Jesus for us all.

October 8, Matthew 24-25

Great stuff today about sheep and goats, and one taken and the other left. Jesus reveals His return, but the fact that even He knows not when that will be. 

October 6, Matthew 20-23

Jesus gives us hope for those we have been praying for and teaches us the need to be real and authentic. 

October 5, Matthew 16-19

Peter is declared the Rock, Jesus is transfigured, and the little children are who we should be like, all in today's reading. GREAT STUFF!

October 4, Matthew 12-15

Jesus is the great multiplier and waymaker. IF we keep our eyes on Him, we can walk on water. Good stuff today!

October 3, Matthew 8-11

Jesus does many miracles in many ways, and leaves us with the promise of rest in todays Word. Great stuff today!

October 2, Matthew 5-7

Today we venture into the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus reveals to us that the Law is more than just acts of commission, but begins in the heart. Perhaps this is relative to the relationship we must have with Him.  Good stuff today!

October 1, Matthew 1-4

Today we start the New Testament. Jesus arrives, John the Baptist prepares the way, and the first disciples are selected. Great start to a great book. 

September 30, Malachi 1-4

Malachi is last of the prophets to speak before the Messiah. Judah has been returned from exile for some time now, but has become laxed in their behaviors. Malachi gets a word from the Lord to remind the people, the Lord wants us to trust Him and follow Him with completeness. Then the Lord tells again of the Coming Messiah.  Good stuff today.
