February 28, Deuteronomy 31-34

Moses tenure closes out with a song and transfer of leadership to Joshua as he overlooks the promised land from the top of Mount Nebo. Great stuff today.

February 27, Deuteronomy 27-30

Moses last of three sermons reveals the true heart of the people. Blessings abound for those that follow the Lord's covenant, and hardship is a reality for those who turn from the Lord. 

February 26, Deuteronomy 21-26

As Moses winds up his second sermon, he reminds the people to never forget where they came from as he delivers the intricate details of their civil law. 

February 25, Deuteronomy 17-20

The Lord sees their hint of wanting a king when they enter the land so guidelines are given. Gossip is addressed with repercussions for those who falsely accuse. 

February 24, Deuteronomy 12-16

In the midst of Moses second sermon the people are given the place to worship and people are set free and debts are forgiven.  Glory to God.

February 23, Deuteronomy 8-11

Moses recants the past and emphasizes a need to live according to the covenant. When we live according to God's plan all blessings come to us despite difficulties of life. Think how much harder it would be without Him. 

February 22, Deuteronomy 5-7

Moses recants the meeting on Mt. Sinai with the new generation. Still today if we follow His covenant He blesses us abundantly. If we choose not to most of us would agree it is rough.  

February 20, Deuteronomy 1-4

First of Moses messages to the people on the plains of Moab overlooking the land they are about to enter in Canaan is a history lesson of the Lord's provision. 

February 19, Numbers 34-36

As the Israelite people overlook the land they are about to enter the Lord tells Moses to divide it amongst the tribes by Lot as the excitement grows for the promise.

February 18, Numbers 31-33

Moses gives land east of the Jordan, and the Midianites are conquered. A brief history lesson of their moves is given and God warns against splinters.
