Joel Summary

Joel speaks of a locust swarm as he prophecies of the pending invasion of Assyrian forces.  Yet in all of this there is restoration in our God who waits for us and loves us. He is our refuge and strength. From calamity to blessings all in one short book.  This could be the story of so many of us. Good stuff today.

Hosea Summary

In Hosea we learn how much the Lord really wants a covenantal true and right relationship with us. So much so that He has Hosea give us visual aid through Hosea's own life.  Interesting read. 

Daniel Summary

How do you fair in the furnace, or with the lions?  With God anything is possible and when we are faced with these fiery situations we can learn from the people in Daniel how faithful our God is to carry us through. Good stuff today. You want to be a Daniel. 

Ezekiel Summary

Ezekiel is loaded with good information. We talk of the Glory of the Lord and being a watchman in this session.  Good stuff!

Lamentations Summary

Lamentations is another book from Jeremiah. While his first book is a warning of coming exile, this book is a mourning of what has already taken place. Yet in these chapters Jeremiah gives us some great hope in the Lord we can take in any of our circumstances. Trust in God, He has never failed. Amen!

Jeremiah Summary

Jeremiah is a great Word to remind us the Lord's Word never fails. Good stuff today!

Isaiah Summary

Isaiah has a great deal of prophetic words for then and now. Here how precise he is in what was to come and has already come and what is still to come.  Great book of then and now. 

Song of Songs Summary

Today we venture into the perfect love relationship as depicted by Solomon in Song of Songs. This is great stuff and reveals to us again, that with God first, everything works out.  Great book! 

Ecclesiastes Summary

Solomon continues with some words of wisdom in proverb form and reminds us a life without God is truly difficult, or in his words..."meaningless".  Good reminders in this book. 

Proverbs Summary

Proverbs is loaded with wisdom and knowledge and some underlying things we may not have noticed. Listen and hear the interesting facts of Proverbs. Good stuff!
