September 15, Micah 1-2

Micah has a message and the people don't like it, but the Lord promised to gather the remnant of those that heed His warning and multiply them once again.  God just wants us to be in relationship with Him. 

August 13, Jonah 1-4

Great look at Jonah today and how Jesus parallels this story again with His teachings. Good stuff!

September 12, Obadiah

Obadiah makes it clear to us relationships are important and family is everything. We need to settle old feuds because they fester and can be detrimental to the family as Edom finds out.

September 11, Amos 8-9

The Lord has spoken, and His word never fails and His promise is to restore those who have been faithful back to their land with more than they had. Let's be faithful, even in times of trouble and know the Lord will bless that.

September 10, Amos 6-7

Amos intercedes for the people and shows us prayer works. He also reminds us our God is our Jehovah Jireh, our provider and we should always remember that.  

September 9, Amos 3-5

Amos gives the warning, but really reveals how God chooses us and the need for us to be real in our relationship with the Lord as His plan for us is to reveal Him to others. But.....we have to be all in.

September 8, Amos 1-2

God watches over His people, but He watches the lives of His people as well as we see in Amos today. Great start to another prophet's story.

September 6, Joel 1-3

Joel gives us a great picture of the locust swarm that signifies the overwhelming result of walking away from God, and then the love and compassion of a patient God who waits for us and wants us to return to Him in meaningful relationship.  Good stuff.

September 5, Hosea 12-14

Hosea closes with a reminder of where we came from, and how our lives, past and present influence others. Hosea reminds us of a God who wants us to be in relationship with Him because He loves us that much. 

September 4, Hosea 9-11

Hosea reveals the Lord's love for us never gives up, yet He is just and hates - yes hates sin. Remember, His temple must be absolute holiness. Yet, the hope God has for us is never ending.
