September 23, Zechariah 1-2

Zechariah the encourager gives us a great verse today that we can put our name in and know the Lord protects and fills us with His Spirit when we walk in relationship with Him. Great book, great stuff!  Happy Saturday!

September 22, Haggai 1-2

It is now post-exile period and Haggai brings a word about our priorities, explaining why it seems we are getting little return for our efforts. Good stuff today.

September 20, Zephaniah 1-3

Zephaniah is written during the reign of the good king Josiah and reminds us that we need more than a lukewarm relationship with the Lord. Good read today.  

September 19, Habakkuk 1-3

Habakkuk reminds us that we are sheltered in the arms of the Lord when we are in relationship with Him. Good stuff today!

September 18, Nahum 1-3

Nahum delivers the ultimatum unlike Jonah the choice. When we turn from God and rely on ourselves it does have consequences and Nineveh is about to find out.  

September 17, Micah 6-7

Micah closes with the promise that in our circumstances the Lord will be with us. He protects, does great miracles, and will rise us up.  Have a great Sabbath and know your God loves you.

September 16, Micah 3-5

Micah brings to light the leaders of Israel have led astray, and brings to light a new Leader is coming who will bring wisdom and peace. When the woman gives birth, we will have this Leader from a distant past from Bethlehem. His Name is Jesus.

September 15, Micah 1-2

Micah has a message and the people don't like it, but the Lord promised to gather the remnant of those that heed His warning and multiply them once again.  God just wants us to be in relationship with Him. 

August 13, Jonah 1-4

Great look at Jonah today and how Jesus parallels this story again with His teachings. Good stuff!

September 12, Obadiah

Obadiah makes it clear to us relationships are important and family is everything. We need to settle old feuds because they fester and can be detrimental to the family as Edom finds out.
